Nothing can be more rewarding than seeing dear Iza in that blue knitting dress.

She is actually the beginning of my "big" dream of Naive Days. Thanks, dear Iza and Alliot, you two is one of the most beautiful things that happened to me....

The last three pictures are from a nice lady living in Paris, Amelie. The beautiful little girl is her daughter Elsa. I did not know her before we had a few back and forth of emails regarding to the ordering. Then I got these three precious pictures from her after new year. I am very touched. I am not so sure if I would do the same if I only bought a piece of clothing somewhere from one shop on the internet. Dear Amelie, I do treasure the pictures that you send to me. That means a lot...at least, I am sure that I can pick up my courage again at the time when I am low and looking at the pictures of Elsa. Look forward that you can open a blog for Elsa. I wanna see her often and how she is doing in a city which I dream about since I was very young.

Thanks again, all my dear friends, for your pictures, words, comments, encouragement, inspiration.... I treasure all these much. I will be better at what I am doing. Have a great week!

QiuQiu 秋秋

What can be more happier to see Qiuqiu's smiling beautiful face?:) And she is wearing "my work"! I am SO honored! Maia was not so satisfied with the combination, however, I love it! Look at her Turquoise dress and the red shoestring, perfect! And yes, the color of the facilities in the playground, so matching:) Maia, and Qiuqiu, big thank you!

I am so falling in love with this illustration. Dear talented illustrator Maia made this gorgeous illustration for my small collection of children clothing Naive Days.  What I love it most is my girl Anette is walking in this beautiful piece of art work.  It feels like a dream: my works (both the clothing  and the girl:) in a fairy tale world.  Thanks Maia, you have made exactly what I wish, actually more than I have wished, there in the illustration. 

In the illustration, the girl is wearing a traditional Chinese style jacket which was used 90% of the circumstance of the Chinese girls in the 70s. I adore this Chinese style girl's jacket because it reminds a lot  the beautiful part of memories of my childhood in China. I am always interested to see the typical French style of children clothing,  or English, American, Japanese, Finish, Norwegian, and many other countries style of children clothing. That is why I am putting a slice of Chinese accent here. Maybe it is interesting for some mothers from other part of the world would like to see how the Chinese girls are dressed.  I am so grateful for this blogspot sphere that so many wonderful blogers open my eyes to a totally new beautiful world. What can I do in return? I wish I would share more of the great nature of Norway and pearls of contemporary Chinese Designs in the coming days.  Have a great start of the week!

China

I am so happy that Anja likes this very Chinese Style jacket. She even wears it at school. Both of girls are so proud that they are kind of Chinese, at least, now. Maybe I am paying bit much attention to this identity thing... the thing is I wanna prepare them to be confident in the coming years while they will be realizing that they are different from the Norwegian children.

Anja enjoys the viola lessons, and I am probably the most serious mama following up her progressing. That is very typical Chinese, isn't it? Her teacher asked if I'd like to borrow a viola back home so I can practice together with Anja. Oh yes, I 'd love to:)

First Snow 初雪

First time snow in Norway....The winter begins.

National Day in the kid garden today. So I dressed Anette very Chinese----quite red :), and she found a white plastic necklace for herself, quite fit actually. I made some Chinese food for her to bring along with to the children in the kid garden. Anette told me that the kids loved the food when she came back from the kid garden:)

Naive Days 2010 /2011 Autumn & Winter 8 - 秋假

Anja has one week autumn holiday this week. The rain finally stopped. I gave Anja a good surprise earlier today telling her I would take her with me to the city. She is so happy the whole day long. We had a lot fun together in the city and my mood is getting better seeing her smiling face. Beautiful sunshine and beautiful light...

制作一件衣服，坐在阳光下的一针一线，于我，像是一种修行。除了赋予它情感，舒适和温暖，其实并没有其它的奢望。

When I am making a dress and sitting under the sun, the stitching feels like practicing to me. In addition to fill the dress with emotion, warmth and comfort, I have no other big thoughts, actually. If it happens that somebody else likes what I made, it is a absolutely candy to me from the heaven. I guess that is all this about.

Naive Days 2010 /2011 Autumn & Winter 7 - 摘花

Anette is a little girl who loves to pick up wild flowers. What a nature of girls to love flowers... I like this set of pictures of Anette together with her flower. It is very much of her, picking up flowers whenever she can from spring to autumn.

Ok, will do the part of work which I am not so fancy of----updating the website and the online store from tomorrow. However, will post more pictures of the autumn and winter collection later...not finished yet:p)
