Nordic Grocery 北欧雑貨

The reindeer is very a typical Nordic thing, isn't it?

The first post of 2011 is to my dear friend
Sonoko. I love her blog "Sara Smile", which is full of small treasures that brings me big joy. She and her little beautiful girl Sara are living in my dream, and in a country I dream to live ---- " Japan". Nordic Design and Wabi Sabi life style have always been the two top favorite things to me. I know that you like Nordic Grocery 北欧雑貨 as well:). Today, I share with you a few items. You can take a look at my older posts, here, here, here, and here, for a few more 北欧雑貨:) I hope you like it.

Moomin mugs and bowls are Christmas presents which I bought for the girls. We eat rice for most of the time as well:)

A small felt purse as a little Christmas present to Anja from my shop:)
Sorry for a little advertisement here as well:)

Nordic glass plates for flat and dry bread.

A Japanese mug which I bought almost 15 years ago when I lived in Singapore. I know it is a very ordinary one. I like it though because of all the years passing by .

Felt purse from a danish design, en gry & sif. A Christmas present I bought to myself.

Oh I definitely share with you this love for the esthetic and simplicity of Nordic countries and Japan. The photos are fabulous especially the first one! She looks so grown up and her laugh is lovely!

I have been reading Sara Smile blog for a couple of weeks - thank you for the link - it is true - the new Sara Smile Cottage looks amazing and I too would love to spend more time in Japan - I visited in 2009 and loved it.

The Christmas gifts are fab - Moomins are always good and the felted goodies are lovely too!

The blue Moomin mug is just what I want to buy for sara. It goes without saying that all items from your shop are so wonderful. I want to put sweets on Nordic glass plates as you do.I am surprise and very happy to know that you have the Japanese mug!
Thank you so much.Your post"北欧雑貨" will surely be most wonderful present for me in this year, and I can't forget this amazing and wonderful occurrence for ever.

Landon is using the muumi cup as well! Love your felt bag, so soft and sweet. Have a great weekend! If weather is nice, we are heading to the zoo.
