Into the Fog ---- Anette

Anette has been growing really a lot since she became a primary student, either physically or mentally. She is taller than Anja was at 6 years of age. And she behaves totally different from she was one year before. She really likes to draw and make small paper craft  things with tapes and etc. And she even asked to start to learn piano. I have to say it has advantage to have a big sister to look upon with and gets all the inspirations. She is also becoming better at being a happy girl for most of the time(I said before that she was a 气包子 kid with her own kind of strong opinion and attitude).

Of course, She disagrees with Anja sometimes. They argue and also make each other irritated and upset. She has to be always reminded to put on enough clothing (I don't understand why she doesn't like to put on a sweater under her dress. Doesn't she know it is not so funny to feel so cold?). And she messes up with her things everyday:(  Well,  otherwise,  things go well with her. I have to say  raising these two girls is a journey far more than one can see from the pictures I post here at this blog. It is a journey filled with smile, joy and pleasure, but also with tears, confusion, frustration, disappointment  and so forth. I am trying to be honest here. Not very good at expressing myself,  However, I think mothers can understand what I mean.

Last Sunday, before I took a couple of pictures including the last picture in this post with my EOS, than the battery was used up. What a "tragedy"!!!:) So, I had to use my small Canon IXUS to shoot the rest pictures. You can easily see the difference.

Two more pictures of Anette----in the wood.

Oh, yes, Kenza, Motherhood, indeed, is a blessing! I have been growing a lot as well during this journey....growing far, further than I had imagined. Thanks for you words! I feel so warm. Happy thanks giving!

Wow, she has grown! They look like the same age honestly. I understand completely what you're saying. My 6yo is the same! Messy messy and then suddenly cleans up. I dont' have to deal with 2 daughters hugging, fighting, crying, competing, loving each other. But on the other hand, there is no one there for my girl but us so we are always on the go go go with her. That also is rewarding and tiring too. The fact that your girls fight or whatever at home, shows how much they feel comfortable with you and family and know that they can express themselves however they want and still be loved. That's awesome!

Oh yes, she has grown a lot. Her face , her expressions in these photos and the black an white from the previous post I love so much.
Love the photos of the girls together. That's fantastic to be sisters, loving, arguing, upseting each other (I have a 2 y younger sister and enjoyed it.
Motherhood is a fantastic and plentiful journey and your words say it so well. I like the way you write about it.
The most difficult and frustrating for me is not to be able to take time with Elsa, time to follow her in her rythms, to wait and listen...
Thank you for this beautiful post. I'm so happy to come here.

Lovely childhood!
Anette is growing more and more beautiful. It's lovely if she starts piano. Then, they can develop individually and also play piano/violin duets together.
I resonate so much on your feeling of motherhood. It's the most challenging job that I've ever had. Maybe we are in quite an extreme situation, HK is intense and Norway is relax, we may also doubt whether we are making right observations, decisions, directions and so on ... I feel particularly hard that when my belief does not align with most of the people around me.
Though I have only one child but situation is nothing better. As Chantale has described this vividly. Particularly if you have an extremely active child and you are the only one who entertain her at home ... your brain power, metal & physical energy will be ALL eaten up by her ...
