Norwegian Wood to Yujuan

My little girlfriend who is only 33 years old died of breast cancer two weeks ago. She was a very young outstanding lecture in Fudan University, which is one of the top 5 universities in China. She got her PhD in University of Oslo and other two master degree. Just after she began to work after many years of study life and gave birth to a baby boy, she found out she got the breast cancer. She fought for a year before she had to go... She wished that she could live longer, and it doesn't matte that if she is a handicapped beggar crawling on the street and seeing her son going to kindergarten every morning. ....

She fought so harder to the extreme pain to live for a minute longer...She said to die is easy but not to live. Her husband sold the flat for the treatment and she got some donations. She transfered the donation to her hometown Jining in ShanDong province to the project of "Norwegian Wood" in her home town. ...... (She wished to bring "Norwegian wood" to her hometown in Shandong province in China. )

Dear Yujuan, I know you miss the Norwegian wood, the set of pictures is delicate to you. Come to visit us in our dreams. We miss you....

Her blog in Chinese is here. Quite low these days, will come back and visit your ladies later.

I am so sorry for your friend, it is heartbreaking. I couldn't even read her chinese blog because I felt so much sadness and thought about her family and especially her little son... A college friend of mine also died of lung cancer two years ago, left 2 of her young boys, I dreamed about her sometimes, ever since her death, i think of life and death very differently than before, never thought death could happen to friends in our age but it happened, I wish we are close by and I could give you a hug... My thoughts are with her family...

So sorry for your loss sweet Fei An. Your dedication is beautiful. Your words and your photos shine and I am certain she can sense their beauty and your love. Thank you for sharing this moment with us. Yes a blog is a lot of laughter and beautiful things to share, as well as sadness, emotions, thoughts. We tend to be so "ourselves" in this blog words, and I thank you for being so.

Dear Fei An, my heart is breaking for you, for them.. This is one of the saddest things I've heard. I'm at a loss for words, so sad. By your words, it seems to me even in her young life and brief time on God's earth, she touched many lives including your own. And that is such a gift. My heart goes out to her little boy and husband. We are all here for you Fei An if you need us. Stay well...

Dear Fei An,
So sad, so heartbreaking. How sorely she ‘ll be missed by her familly and friends.
She was such a beautiful and talented young lady. My thoughts are with you and her very young son.
Your photos of Anja in the woods are so serene, filled with a peaceful light, like a dream or a memory....
Take care of yourself and the girls in these moments of grief and sorrow, dear Fei An.
