Naive Days 2010 /2011 Autumn & Winter 6 ----Loving Felt

If one is living in north Europe, it is not that difficult to fall in love with felt. Me too. I love felt, probably it is because my years of living in Inner Mongolia during my youth hood. Mongolian use lots of wool to make all kinds of things, yes, that is why, felt. When I found the felt fabric in Norway, I just fall in love with it at once even though it is almost the most expensive fabric in the store. I am glad we have long cold days here in Norway, so I can make all kinds of felt clothing to the girls and myself, maybe:)

Anja played a little bit in the playground before we drove to voila lessons. The autumn sunshine was so beautiful and peaceful, I felt sentimental seeing her playing under the sunshine. .....
I nearly see myself in her, my little self, .... so blessed and being taken care of my grandmother. A very, very beautiful childhood.

Sweet Fei An, you amazed us with your wonderful design again! The blue felt coat is beautiful!!!
Anja looks so graceful in the coat.
And, your photography is simply sublime.
I should say this again, I'm deeply in love with your A/W collection :)

Stunning. Love that color and the images warm my heart. I hope one day you design something like children would traditonally (nomads) wear in Inner Mongolia. Even if it is just one piece. I think it would be fantastic.

Dear Yoli,
Happy Moon cake festival!!! Hopefully, you can find some moon cakes for the kids in the local Asian shop. I will do the same:)
Thanks for your nice words to my post. As for the "something like children would traditonally (nomads) wear in Inner Mongolia", oh yes, I would like to make something like that in a near future. Thanks for your inspiration:) Hugs to the kids.

The coat is just beautiful and the colour spectacular! And you know that I love working with felt too - but usually on a much smaller scale! I will be off to buy some felt (but not real wool tomorrow - that will have to wait till London in November!)
